According to a message from the Marshall Police Department, 41-year-old Terrelle Palmer has been located and apprehended in Mississippi and is being held pending extradition.
The department sent out a message on their Facebook page thanking the following agencies for their collaboration in apprehending Palmer: The Saline County Sheriff’s Department, The Missouri State Highway Patrol, The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, The Mississippi Highway Patrol SWAT, ATF, and the Saline County Prosecutor’s Office.
Palmer is a suspect in the double shooting on October 2, 2019 that left 52-year-old Calvin Bosley of Marshall dead and three others injured and also sparked a lock down at Marshall Public Schools and Missouri Valley College.
At approximately 11:10 a.m., on October 2, officers and emergency personnel responded to a call in regard to a shooting incident at a residence located on South Olson Avenue.
Upon Officers arrival 3 persons were identified to have injuries from apparent gunshots, one of which later died from his injuries.
Then, at approximately 12:18 p.m. Marshall Police Department received a call in reference to a second shooting that took place at a residence on West Vest Street.
Both shooting incidents have been confirmed to be related.
Charges contained in reports provided by law enforcement officials are not evidence of guilt.
