Two area residents suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Pettis County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by 61-year-old Doretta Davis, of Sedalia, stopped to make a left turn at the top of a hill crest as a southbound vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Daniel Leisen, of Hughesville, began to top the hill crest. The report says Leisen’s vehicle struck the front passenger side of Davis’ vehicle.
Reportedly, Leisen was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, while Davis was transported to Saint Luke’s Hospital for treatment.
The crash happened just before 6:20 p.m. on Walnut Grove Road at Quarry Road.
