The Missouri State Highway Patrol recently announced a new safety program that focuses on risky behaviors behind the wheel.
According to a news release, the program entitled “If I Could Just Go Back”, is appropriate for persons 14-years of age and older. The 15-minute video, which uses photos, music and testimonials from family members, focuses on risky behaviors behind the wheel, such as: drinking and driving, failure to use safety devices, inattentive driving and excessive speed.
The video is a collaborative effort among the Missouri State Highway Patrol, State Farm, Evergy, Farm Bureau, Operation Lifesaver, and Bloomsdale Excavating Co. Inc.
Additional sponsors include the family and friends of the late Mr. Dave Mudd, Missouri Electric Cooperatives, and The Builders’ Association.
Public Information Officers at each troop headquarters are available, at no cost, to schools, civic organizations, and churches to present the program, which will included the showing of the video.
