A Warsaw man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Benton County on Tuesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 46-year-old John Woods failed to negotiate a curve on his southbound Harley Davidson, and the bike overturned, struck a light pole and concrete curbing and ejected Woods, who reportedly was not wearing a safety device.
Woods was pronounced deceased at 12:28 p.m. by Benton County Coroner J. Weston Miller.
The crash happened at 11:57 a.m. on Commercial Street, seven-tenths of a mile north of Missouri Highway 7.
