Alberta Alice Bredehoeft, age 96, of Odessa and formerly of Alma, died Saturday, November 2, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, at Zion Lutheran Church in Blackburn, where visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Lutheran Radio Hour or Zion Lutheran Church.

Kaiser-Wiegers Funeral Home in Higginsville is in charge of the arrangements.

In addition to her husband, Clarence, and parents, John and Emma (Mevius) Reith; she is preceded in death by a son, Douglas; a daughter, Bonnie; brothers, Leonard and Ervin Reith; and a half sister, Hilda Starkebaum.

She is survived sons, Ronald Bredehoeft (Tamara), of Alma, and Allen Bredehoeft (Sharon), of Emma; daughters, Janette Copeland (Bob), of Olathe, KS, Connie Bredehoeft, of Odessa, Shirlyn Bredehoeft, of Higginsville, and Teresa Bredehoeft, of Higginsville; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great grandchild.
