A Carrollton man has been charged with felonies for allegedly stealing animals from other persons earlier this year.
According to a probable-cause statement, between March 1 and March 31, Edward Everett Arnold III is alleged to have taken an animal that belonged to another person without her permission; and on September 23, Arnold is alleged to have taken a dog from another person’s property without his knowledge. Arnold also is alleged to have purposely or intentionally caused injury or suffering to an animal.
Online court documents say Arnold has been charged with two counts of a Class E Felony for Stealing an Animal; and a misdemeanor for animal abuse.
Arnold’s initial hearing is pending at Carroll County Circuit Court.
