An area man sustained minor injuries in a traffic accident involving wildlife in Cooper County on Thursday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound vehicle, driven by 38-year-old Bruce Crider, of Tipton, reportedly struck a deer in the roadway, and the deer entered the vehicle through its windshield.
Crider reportedly was treated at the scene by E.M.S.
The accident happened at 10:15 a.m. on Missouri Highway 5, one-quarter of a mile north of Wallace Road.
