Icy road conditions were reportedly the cause of a head on traffic crash in Johnson County during the morning hour of Monday, November 11, 2019.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred when 61-year-old Victoria Miller of Warrensburg, lost control of her westbound vehicle on the ice covered roadway, traveled across the median and hit the eastbound vehicle, driven by 21-year-old Jasmine Rockwell, of Grain Valley, head on. Miller’s vehicle overturned after impact.
Miller was reportedly not injured. Rockwell sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
The crash happened at 8:25 a.m. on U.S. Highway 50 at Northwest 1438 Road.
