An Endangered Silver Advisory has been issued for a missing Florida man.
According to a release from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the advisory was issued by the Blue Springs Police Department for an incident that occurred on Tuesday, November 12.
The missing adult is 78-year-old James A. Madden, who is white and about 6-foot-1 and 150 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes, and speaks with a British accent. He reportedly suffers from dementia.
Madden is reported to have left Clearwater, Florida, at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, to travel to Utah or California. According to cell-phone records, his last known location was Blue Springs on November 12. His family has been unable to reach him, and there is concern that he is a victim of an internet scam and may be endangered.
The vehicle Madden reportedly is driving is a gray 2007 Chrysler Town and Country, bearing Florida license plate- CNU4647.
Anyone seeing the missing person or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person, should immediately dial 9-1-1 to contact the nearest law-enforcement agency or call the Blue Springs Police Department at (816) 228-0150.
