An Odessa teen has been charged with a drug-related felony.
According to a probable cause statement, law-enforcement officers were called to the Odessa High School’s north parking lot on November 8. Authorities reportedly detected the smell of marijuana from a vehicle, and during a consented search of the vehicle, they say they located several drug-related items, including two JUUL Vapes with seven empty pods; one ROVE Skywalker Vape canister which had writing stating it contained 77 percent THC; marijuana seeds; a backpack that contained clear plastic bags of marijuana, digital scales, two boxes of plastic sandwich bags and two packages of cigarillo cigars. The marijuana weighed approximately 36 grams.
According to court documents, 17-year-old Sienna Renee Vorwark has been charged with a Class A Felony for Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety.
While in custody, Vorwark pleaded not guilty during her arraignment hearing on November 12. Her next hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
