Two persons are facing drug charges after a traffic stop on I-70 in Lafayette County on November 7.
According to a probable-cause statement, during a consented search of the vehicle, authorities say they located approximately 32 pounds of marijuana; 1,011 THC oil cartridges- including 2.2 pounds of oil; 102 marijuana cigars; four packages of THC-infused edibles; and a small container which contained approximately 20 marijuana seeds.
Court documents say 41-year-old Anthony Rivera, of Milwaukee, and 36-year-old Jesse Taylor, of Claremont, California, each has been charged with Class C Felonies for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance. Each man posted $50,000 surety bond.
Each man is scheduled to appear for his initial arraignment hearing on Wednesday, December 4, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
