A warrant has been issued and bond has been set at $250,000 cash or surety for a 41-year-old Sedalia man who has been charged with multiple sex-related felonies involving a juvenile.
A Probable cause statement says on November 12, a 13-year-old female told a child-safe investigator that she has been molested by Roy Ray Pounds for the past two years. She described several incidents in explicit detail to the investigator.
When authorities interviewed Pounds, he requested an attorney.
According to court documents, Pounds has been charged with a Class A Felony for Child Molestation in the First Degree; a Class E Felony for Incest; and two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy or Attempt- Deviate Sexual Intercourse.
Pounds’ initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
