A Moberly man was killed in a roll-over traffic crash in Chariton County on Friday, November 15, 2019.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened when the eastbound vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Brandon Vanbibber overturned after traveling off the right side of the roadway. Vanbibber was ejected from the vehicle. His passenger, 33-year-old Jassi Chambers of Iberia sustained moderate injuries. Neither Vanbibber nor Chambers were reportedly wearing a seat belt.
Vanbibber was transported by Chariton County Ambulance to Moberly Regional Hospital and then sent by Air Evac to University of Columbia where he was later pronounced deceased.
Chambers was also transported by Chariton County Ambulance to University Hospital Columbia for treatment.
The crash occurred at 11:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 24, six miles east of Salisbury.
