Stephen J. Rieth, age 70, of Marshall, died Friday, November 15, 2019.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 21, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, where visitation begins at 9 a.m.. Burial, with military rites, will follow at the Missouri State Veterans’ Cemetery in Higginsville.

Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Saline Animal League, in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

In addition to his wife, Joyce, he is survived by one daughter, Tenecia Wade (Brennan), of Marshall; one son, Anthony “Tony” Rieth, of Marshall; four granddaughters, Kayla Clause, Kelcie Clause, Maddix Clause and Mallory Rieth; four brothers, William Rieth (Connie), of Marshall, Lawrence Rieth, of Springfield, IL, John Rieth, of Dearborn, MI and Paul Rieth (Eleanor), of Louisville; three sisters, Patricia Gladbach (Denis), of Jefferson City, Kathleen Rieth (Bob Spielberger), of Indio, CA, and Mary Jo Rieth (Ron Lawson), of Marshall; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward H. Rieth and Margaret M. O’Rourke Rieth; sisters-in-law, Honora Rieth, Mary Beth Rieth and Shirley Muenks Zinn; brother-in-law, Larry Muenks; nephew, Marc Rieth; and niece, Shelley Zinn Offield.
