Three men accused of multiple felonies, including kidnapping, on April 26, 2018, are scheduled to have court proceedings involving their cases this week.
According to a probable-cause statement, members of multiple law-enforcement agencies arrived at the scene of the reported kidnapping at the Super 8 Motel in Higginsville and arrested the three men, who allegedly held two females against their will; raped and assaulted them; and demanded ransom money.

Mendez-Morales and Sierra-Vallina are being held on $500,000 and Camarillo-Linan on $750,000 cash-only bond at the Lafayette County Jail.
Each defendant pleaded not guilty on April 30, 2018.
