During the meeting at the Glasgow School Board on Wednesday, November 20, it was reported that much progress has been made in the past month on the new John Donaldson Field.
According to minutes from the meeting, it was reported the press box is coming along and should be protected from the elements very soon. The district has focused on getting the infield looking sharp and getting all growth on the hillsides and around the fences in shape. Shortly, the awning over what will be the grandstand seating area will be started; the remaining fences will be installed; and the dugouts will be completed.
In actions taken, the board approved the administration, coaches and athletic directors to create a handbook regarding the use and care of John Donaldson Field. The board is hoping to review and adopt the handbook in the next couple of months.

The board also reviewed policies and regulations 1420 and 2940, which outline the current practices for community and student use of school facilities. The board voted to amend regulation 1420.
