With this being the season of giving, one area family has come up with a way for the community to give back to area teachers.
Stephanie Johnson says the idea for the “Giving Tree” is a project the whole family came up with together. She said it all started after an area business donated items that were passed out at schools to show teachers how much they are appreciated.

Johnson says to participate you can stop by any of these locations and pick an apple.
