As result of the alleged findings of law-enforcement officers after the execution of a search warrant on Tuesday, November 26, two men are facing drug-related felony charges.
According to a release from the Carrollton Police Department, the warrant was executed in the 200 block of West Washington Avenue after police learned of a possible marijuana-grow operation in the area. Arrested were 32-year-old Adam Wilkin and 30-year-old Brandon Hammonds.
The release says Wilkin has been charged with a Class B Felony for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance Within 2,000 Feet of a School; a Class D Felony for Possession of Controlled Substances; and a drug-related misdemeanor. Hammonds has been charged with a Class B Felony for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance Within 2,000 Feet of a School.
Each of the accused is being held on a $20,000 cash-only bond.
An initial hearing for each man is pending at Carroll County Circuit Court.
