Peggy Pearl Luehrman, age 89, of Higginsville, died Thursday, November 28, 2019.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, at Salem United Church of Christ in Higginsville, where the family will receive friends beginning at noon. Per her wishes, she will be cremated after the service, and the family will bury her cremains at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Salem United Church of Christ.

Hoefer Funeral Home in Higginsville is in charge of the arrangements.

Surviving are three daughters, Janette (Dean) Fuller, of Willis, TX, Karen Luehrman, of Higginsville, and Lois (Marc Bowman) Crane, of North Kansas City; one sister, Corine Walje, of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Cindy (Scott) Thomas, of Seabrook, TX, Lindsey (Philip) Looper, of Tulsa, OK, and Kyle (Samantha) Crane, of Little Rock, AR; and three great-grandchildren, Kaley, Kendall and Khloe Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Morlock and the late Lena (Haerry) Morlock; husband, Walter; one brother, Fred Morlock; and two sisters, Nora Rosenhan and Minnie Johnson.
