The Marshall Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is scheduled to be held on Friday, December 6.
Marshall Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Mary Ann Piper says the parade is going to be taking a slightly different route this year.

Piper says lineup for the parade will start at 5 p.m., with the parade beginning at 6 p.m.

Piper says hot chocolate will be available on all four corners of the square, and the First Christian Church will be holding its annual chili and soup supper beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Also, Piper says area children will be able to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus in the Saline County Courthouse after the parade.
In addition, Piper says registration for the annual Christmas Lights Contest is ongoing. “If you see somebody’s house you like; or you can sign up your own house by calling our office.” She says the deadline to register a house is December 12, with the judging taking place on December 14 and 15.
