Captain Scott A. Shipers, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, has announced the assignment of nine new troopers to Troop A- which includes some counties in the KMMO listening area.
A news release says the new troopers are members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 108th Recruit Class, which graduated from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy on Friday, December 20. The troopers report for duty on January 6, 2020.
Trooper John Colwell, a native of Maryville, has been assigned to Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Platte County.
Trooper Ethan Mulkey, a native of Bixby, Oklahoma, has been assigned to Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Plate County.
Trooper Charles Karr, a native of Davenport, Iowa, has been assigned to Zone 3, which serves the citizens of Clay County.
Trooper James Scrivens, a native of Platte City, has been assigned to Zone 4, which serves the citizens of Clay County.
Trooper Cyle Cundiff, a native of Moberly, has been assigned to zone 7, which serves the citizens of Jackson County.
Trooper James Crewse, a native of Branson, has been assigned to Zone 10, which serves the citizens of Saline County.
Trooper Luke Boff, a native of Branson, has been assigned to Zone 14, which serves the citizens of Bates County.
Trooper Kainen Nance, a native of Nevada, has been assigned to Zone 14, which serves the citizens of Bates County.
Trooper Brady Shows, a native of Eldridge, Iowa, has been assigned to Zone 14, which serves the citizens of Bates County.
