Mabel Day Bailey, age 79, of Marshall, died Wednesday, January 1, 2020.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 4, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, where visitation begins at 1:30. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Survivors include three children, Gina Ballew (Eddie), of Slater, Linda Lyon (Danny), of rural Marshall, and Martin Edde of Slater; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tony Day (Sharon), of Marshall, and Michael “Mickey” Day (Karon), of Sedalia; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carl N. Day and Mary W. Brown Day; Mabel was preceded in death by one daughter, Bobbie Edde; one grandson, Robert Edde; four brothers, Charles (Butch) Day, Carl Day, and twins, Danny and Donny Day; and two sisters, Dixie Day and Ginger Newman.
