During the meeting of the Carrollton City Council on Monday, January 6, 2020 an Ordinance to Amend the legal age for tobacco use was approved.
City Administrator Terry Bell says the city had to comply with the new state statute.
Bell says the council also approved ordinances to enter into contracts with a couple of new businesses coming to town.
She says both businesses will be located in the Industrial Park.
In other news, the council also approved the 2020 proposed budget for the Municipal Utilities and a conditional use permit was awarded for storage buildings to be constructed on West Lincoln.
