The Marshall City Council opened its meeting on Monday, January 6, with a public hearing regarding a Floodplain Management Ordinance.
City Code Official/Inspector Mike Morgan explained it’s just some changes in the wording of the current ordinance.

There were no other comments from the council nor the audience.
City Administrator David Haugland said the first reading of the ordinance will be on the agenda during the next meeting, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21. It has been pushed back one day due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday on Monday, January 20.
