A 40-year-old Richmond man is facing multiple felony charges after a traffic stop on January 8 in Lafayette County.
With the help of a K-9, authorities say they located a cylinder containing a baggie of methamphetamine and a cellophane wrapper containing 36-1/2 morphine and 29 Vyvanse pills; a fully-loaded revolver; a PayPal cash debit card belonging to another person; and other drug-related items.
Court documents say Adrian Mark Fernandez has been charged with three counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; and another Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety.
Fernandez pleaded not guilty during his arraignment hearing on Thursday, January 9. His next hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
