A Carrollton resident has been charged with multiple counts of a drug-related felony after a traffic stop was conducted by law enforcement on Monday, January 13.
According to a probable-cause statement, authorities say Brian Michael Gilchrist knowingly possessed Klonipin, Xanax and Oxycodone pills- all controlled substances. He also allegedly was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Court documents say Gilchrist has been charged with three counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $5,000 cash only.
Gilchrist entered a plea of not guilty during his arraignment on Monday, January 13. His next hearing is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, at Carroll County Circuit Court.
