A 58-year-old Augusta, Georgia, man suffered minor injuries in a rollover freightliner crash that closed westbound I-70 in Saline County for a while on Sunday, January 19.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as an International Prostar, driven by 36-year-old Michael Howard, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck ERM 82.4; traveled back onto the roadway, overturned and came to rest on its passenger’s side blocking both westbound lanes.
While Howard reportedly was not injured, a passenger, Don Bagwell, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Saline County E.M.S. to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment.
The crash happened at 6:40 a.m.
