A Marshall man who is facing a felony charge after schools went into secure mode on August 30 is scheduled to be in court this week.
According to a probable-cause statement, during an incident at Exchange Bank at 929 West Vest Street, Marshall Police officers were told a man was threatening to shoot everyone inside if they could not get him money from an account. Once on the scene, officers arrested Douglas Frehse, who also allegedly was found to be in possession of methamphetamine when being booked at the jail.
Court documents say 43-year-old Frehse has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Class E Felony for Making a Terrorist Threat in the Second Degree.
Frehse entered a not-guilty plea on October 15. He is due to appear for a plea/trial-setting hearing at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 27, at Saline County Circuit Court.
