A 38-year-old Sedalia man is facing a felony charge for allegedly stealing a firearm from another man.
According to a probable-cause statement, on January 6, a man reported two handguns were stolen from him. The victim reported the theft occurred on or about January 2. The victim also identified a possible suspect.
On January 7, authorities located a case in which Anthony Robert Hill reportedly was found to be in possession of one of the specific handguns.
Court documents say a warrant has been requested and Hill has been charged with a Class D Felony for Stealing a Firearm. Bond has not been set yet.
Hill’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
