A Sedalia woman has been charged with a felony after a reported incident at Budget Inn on South Limit Avenue on January 21.
According to a probable-cause statement, it is alleged that a former employee- Aleshia M. Zentner- entered the office of the business and accessed a computer behind the check-in desk, an area restricted to employees only. At the request of the owner, Zentner reportedly had been advised numerous times by Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies that she was not allowed to enter employee-only areas due to her employment being terminated.
Prior to leaving, Zentner allegedly assaulted an employee. She allegedly pushed him in the chest and struck him in the face and head several times. All of the incident reportedly was captured on security cameras of the business.
Court documents say a warrant has been requested and Zentner has been charged with a Class E Felony for Domestic Assault in the Third Degree and a trespassing misdemeanor. Bond has not been set yet.
Zentner’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
