
Nellie Bailey, 74, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Family Worship Center in Marshall, with Mark Gooden officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the worship center. Inurnment will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Masks are encouraged. Born August 18, 1946, in Clinton, MO, she was the daughter of the late Marvin L. Jones and Lidia Esther Campis Jones. She lived in Marshall since 1962 and was a 1964 graduate of Marshall High School. On May 22, 1965, she married Lester Bailey who survives of the home. She was a graduate of the Marshall Vocational School LPN Program and retired from Fitzgibbon Hospital after a 35-year career as a neonatal nurse and lovingly cared for innumerable local newborns. She was a member of Family Worship Center.
Survivors include her husband Lester; two children, Russell L. Bailey (Brenda) of Greenwood, MO and Sandra Perry (Mark) of Cedar Hill, MO; two grandchildren, Noah Perry and Jessalyn Friedly; and one sister, Esther Jones of Charleston, SC.
