The Concordia Board of Aldermen gave its approval to several items during its meeting on Monday, February 3.
According to meeting minutes, the board approved an ordinance authorizing the purchase of a 2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid Responder Sedan and an equipment lease agreement with Ford Credit in Dearborn, Michigan.
Aldermen also approved an ordinance establishing a public-use right-of-way on property at Edwin A. Pape Lake and an ordinance authorizing the execution of utility easements on parcels of property at the lake with West Central Electric Co-Op and Consolidated Water Supply District No. 2 of Lafayette, Johnson and Saline Counties.
In addition, the board approved an ordinance authorizing the execution of a quitclaim deed for a strip of land to the Harland and Phyllis Mieser Revocable Trust.
The board also gave its approval to a quote of $42,187 from contractor Tom Rinne for repairs on NW 4th Street.
