A 55-year-old Carrollton man was killed in a rollover traffic crash on Wednesday in Carroll County.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by Shawn Cowger, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway, through a fence, struck a ditch and overturned.
Cowger was pronounced deceased at the scene by Carroll County Coroner Steven Bittiker at 8:14 a.m.
The crash happened at 7:30 a.m. on Route J at Route YY.
