An area law-enforcement officer recently was recognized for his years of service and was appointed to another position within that agency.
Higginsville City Administrator Jeanette Dobson explains what took place at the Board of Aldermen meeting this week.

Dobson also reminded residents that they don’t have to leave their house to pay a certain bill anymore.

In other news, the next meeting of the Higginsville Board of Aldermen has been pushed back one day to Tuesday, February 18, a day following the holiday for Presidents’ Day on Monday, February 17.
