Philip Martin Schlichting, 78, of Sweet Springs, died on February 17th , 2020.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 am. Friday, February 21, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 20 at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Phil’s life. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Phil is survived by his wife, Shirley, of Sweet Spring; his daughter, Lisa (Doug) Hankey, of Ford City, Pennsylvania; his son, Brian (Michelle) Schlichting, of Sweet Springs, Missouri; and his daughter Cristina (Jeff) Lane, of Buckner, Missouri. He will be greatly missed by his nine (9) grandchildren, Chloe and Rafe Hankey; Colin, Naomi and Finnley Schlichting; and Garrett Petty and Brooklynn Lane, and three step-grandchildren, Nick, Jennifer (Gomez) and Landon Lane. Brothers James (Betty) Schlichting of Oak Grove, Missouri; William (Karan) Schlichting of Sunset, Louisiana; Sisters Ann (Chuck) Jedele of Winfield, Kansas; Esther Maxwell of Independence, Missouri and Sister in Law, Barbara Schlichting of Wentzville, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; an unborn son, and his brothers, Joseph Schlichting and John “Dave” Schlichting.
