Marshall Public Schools are closed Monday, March 2, due to the latest sighting of a bedbug at the high school on Friday, February 28.

Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Terry Lorenz stopped by the KMMO Studio and gave an update on the situation during the Morning Show with Raymond James.

Dr. Maher said the district has been taking care of problems as they have arisen.

Dr. Maher explained the district is asking for the community’s help.

Dr. Maher said the district is taking extra steps in doing some cleaning.

The plan is for students to return to classes on Tuesday, March 3.
