The Missouri Department of Transportation will close lanes on northbound and southbound U.S. Highway 65 at Rebar Road near Sedalia throughout the next two weeks.
A news release says these lane closures will enable MoDOT crews to begin installing temporary stoplights at the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and Rebar and U.S. Highway 65 and Routes H and HH near Nucor Steel. Work will continue over the next several weeks. There will be temporary lane closures throughout the process.
All work is weather dependent.
As part of the signal installation, MoDOT will reduce the speed limit to 55 miles per hour from Route HH south into Sedalia.
