A large cache of marijuana and other drug-related items allegedly were located in a vehicle after a traffic stop on I-70 in Cooper County on February 11; and felony charges have been filed against a 50-year-old man of Beaverton, Oregon.
A probable-cause statement says with the help of a canine, authorities located a suitcase which contained 45 vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana. Also located were baggies containing Adderall, Xanax and amphetamine pills; a bag containing 22 brown round, unmarked, unknown pills; miscellaneous receipts; a laptop; a white charger; and a cell phone.
A warrant has been issued and Jonathan B. Lee has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and three counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety.
Lee’s initial appearance is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
