An area law-enforcement agency has made some arrests.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says it served a search warrant at 217 North Pine Street in Norborne at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6.
One male and one female were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of scales and baggies with the intent to sell and distribute. The male subject also was illegally in possession of multiple firearms. Another male at the scene was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All subjects were transported to the Chariton County Jail to await formal charges.
The names of the subjects have not been released by authorities.
