Two of three persons who were in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation on February 29 have been charged with felonies in Howard County.
According to a probable cause statement, a Fayette police officer located plastic baggies with marijuana; a crystal-like substance, which appeared to be methamphetamine; and an unknown green and pink crystallized substance; and glass smoking pipes, containing white residue and soot; along with other drug-related items.
Fayette residents Danielle Marie Jones and Mark Dwayne Jones each has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Mark Jones’ bond has been set at $25,000 and Danielle Jones’ bond at $10,000 cash only.
Each is due for an initial arraignment at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, at Howard County Circuit Court.
