Marshall Public Schools’ Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher issued a news release including an update about the bedbug situation in the district on Tuesday, March 10.
The release says: “A bedbug was found this afternoon in Marshall High School. This was in the same area treated Sunday, and Steve’s Pest Control has informed us the chemicals from the treatment could not have been dissipated enough for a bug to survive in the building. Because our belief is that the bug did not originate from the building, school will be in session (Wednesday, March 11) as usual.”
