An area community is cancelling an annual event.
Lexington Mayor, Joe Aull said the St. Patrick’s Day Parade scheduled to be held in Lexington will not take place on Saturday.

The parade was scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow. There have been no plans to reschedule the event at this time.
