To combat the spread of COVID-19 to the public and employees, in-person court appearances have been suspended until Friday, April 3rd.
This includes the 8th Judicial Circuit Court serving Ray and Carroll Counties, and the Marshall Municipal Court.
This includes cases in the circuit, associate, juvenile, probate and municipal divisions. The exception will be proceedings necessary to protect the constitutional rights of criminal defendants, juveniles, pertaining to orders of protection, and related to certain other emergency or time sensitive matters.
The courts of the State of Missouri will remain open. Anyone needing information regarding a specific case should check Missouri Casenet or contact the Circuit Clerk’s Office in the county in which the case is pending.
