An area sheriff has issued a statement regarding how her agency is handling the Covid-19 crisis.
According to a release from Saline County Sheriff Cindi Mullins, the department is continually monitoring the facility and monitoring the advice of its medical provider.
Jail programs have been suspended, and the department is limiting access to essential personnel and legal counsel. She says, although we have not limited any on-site visitation- which is through glass- we are encouraging inmate visitation theough the video system.
