An area law-enforcement agency will be enforcing some new rules to try to curb the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
Henry County Sheriff Kent Oberkrom says starting Monday, March 16, the department’s main lobby will be closed to the public until further notice.
The Bonding Hall door will still be available, but staff will be admitting only those who have a need to enter. The medication drop-off box will be in the Bonding Hall. The department asks you to look for signage to direct yourself accordingly.
The office asks that you call the office at (660) 885-7300 for routine business matters.
If you have an emergency, you should always dial 9-1-1 first.
This action is being taken to minimize the exposure the department’s staff and facilities have to outside visitors.
