During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, March 19, Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. said there is some bridge replacement scheduled to begin next week.
Guthrey said it is on Highway 41.

In addition to that, Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden said some roadwork is scheduled to take place on a portion of another highway this year.

Gooden also noted Saline County Emergency Management Agency Director Tony Day has issued all courthouse employees I.D. cards for security reasons. She said employees are being asked to wear their cards.
