Pursuant to Governor Mike Parson closing the State Capitol and state office buildings to the public, effective at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, through Monday, April 6 (unless extended), the Saline County Commission has decided to close the courthouse in Marshall to public access.
A news release says everybody needs to be focused on following CDC and OSHA guidelines, standards and directives relating to the COVID-19 virus. It urges residents to stay at home.
If you need to conduct business with a county official, call the office you need.
Commissioners urge residents to use online access or the drop box located in the circle drive outside the courthouse.
The health, safety and well-being of constituents, communities and county employees are of paramount concern.
The commission is continuing to monitor the situation. If you have any questions, call the commission office at (660) 886-7777.
