In order to protect against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), a trash service company is alerting residents about what it will be doing over the next week.
According to a release from John Vanderslice, Route Manager for Advanced Disposal, trash personnel are going to collect cans with loose trash in them for the city of Boonville, so they can be emptied for next week. The cans will need to have handles.
Two dumpsters also have been set up at the transfer station for the residents of Boonville. As long as the citizens have proof of residency, there will be no charge- along with one bulky item. Advanced Disposal asks that the bulky item be unloaded on the Transfer Station floor and not placed in the dumpsters.
Advanced Disposal will keep this going for a week in order to provide everyone enough time to prepare for next week.
