As of 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services has reported more than 500 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the state.
According to the DHSS website, the total number of positive cases in the state confirmed is 502- up from 356 the day before- including eight deaths.
In the KMMO listening area, two confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Lafayette County and one in Cooper County. There also are eight confirmed cases in Johnson County and one in Henry County.
In addition, after these numbers were reported, one positive case was confirmed in Pettis County. Also, two more cases were confirmed in Lafayette County, increasing its total to four.
DHSS expects the next update to be made at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 27.
