As of 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) has reported more than 800 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the state.
According to DHSS, the total number of positive cases in the state confirmed is 838- up from 502 on Thursday, March 26- including 10 deaths.
In the KMMO listening area, one case has been confirmed in each Chariton, Cooper and Pettis Counties; and four in Lafayette County (although county health officials report six confirmed cases).
In addition, 49 positive cases have been confirmed in Boone County; nine in Johnson County; and one in each Benton, Henry, Randolph and Ray Counties.
DHSS expects the next update to be made at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 29.
